Olen jo pitkään tavoitellut sitä, että saisin lankavarastostani käytettyä lankoja, joita sinne vuosien varrella on kertynyt sellaisia kummallisia yksittäiskeriä. Osa saattaa oikeasti olla iältään sitä luokkaa, että iän voi laskea kymmenissä vuosissa. No, nyt Ravelryyn perustettiin ryhmä, joka sopii minulle kuin nenä päähän, ryhmä on "Tiukkapipoiset varastoneulojat". Siinä ryhmässä on kuukausittain myös haaste eli annetaan 3 erilaista kriteeriä ja sen mukaan pitäisi kyseisen kuukauden aikana aloittaa projekti, käyttäen tietty niitä varastossa olevia lankoja. Kaikkia 3 ehtoa ei tarvitse täyttää, riittää, että yksikin toteutuu.
During the years I have bought and received different kind of yarns and most of those are a bit weird. I do not have slightest idea why I have those and why I have e.g. one or two skeins only. Some of those yarns are really old, 10 years or even 30 years and I really would like to get rid of those. :D Some Finnish Ravelry members established a group which suits me well in this case. It is called "Tiukkapipoiset varastoneulojat"; in practise it means members of the group are just using yarn from stash and not buying any new yarn. Every month we have a challenge, which contains 3 different conditions and during that month you should start a project using yarn from your stash. You do not have to fulfill all the criterias, it is enough the fulfill one of those.
Tällä kertaa kriteerit olivat: harmaa, DK, lapselle. Minun varastostani löytyi 100 grammaa mustaa puuvillaa, joka on luokiteltu DK-vahvuiseksi. Kaveriksi sille otin pari ohuempaa lankaa, vaaleankeltaisen ja vaalean mintun ja käytin niitä yhdessä palluroiden tekemiseen. Tuloksena syntyi tuollainen virkattu pussukka kesäkäyttöön.
This time the 3 conditions were: grey, DK, for a child. I had 100 g black cotton, which was DK weight. In addition to that I had lighter cotton, other one was light yellow and the other one light mint. I used those together for the bubbles. As a result I got crocheted purse for summer.
Malli on Pieni virkattu laukku by DROPS Design. Tosin minä en ihan täysin ohjetta noudattanut, silmukka- ja kerrosmäärät ovat isommat.
Used pattern is Crocheted Purse by DROPS Design. However, I made some modifications like used more stiches and crocheted more rows.
