No, yksi lähisukulaiseni näki tekemäni virkatun pussukan ja tykästyi. Pyysi sitten vienosti, josko voisin tehdä hänellekin samantapaisen. No, kaivelin lankavarastoja ja sieltä löytyi sekä valkoista että keltaista merseroitua puuvillaa. Molemmat olivat sen verran ohuita, että tein pussukan kaksinkertaisesta langasta.
Himppasen piti säätää ja purkaa, jotta sain langan riittämään. Kaikki meni, kumpaakaan väriä ei jäänyt pätkääkään ylitse.
One of my close relatives saw the crochteted purse I made and she liked it a lot. After a while she asked whether I could make something similar for her as well. I checked my stash and found both white and yellow mercerized cotton. I guess those were fingering weight - I used both as doubled.
I had to crochet and frog a little bit to be able to make the whole purse using those yarns. At the end I did not have either of yarns left.
