Jaa-a, minä näemmä neulon nopeammin kuin ehdin tai viitsin ottaa tuotoksistani kuvia. Varsinkin yhden vihjeen valmistuttua on aika tylsä ottaa kuva, kun mulla on käytössä niin lyhyet pyöröpuikot, että siinä sit joutuu siirtelemään silmukoita ylimääräisille puikoille, jotta työn saisi edes vähän leviteltyä kuvaa varten. Toisaalta on sit kiva katsella niitä kuvia välivaiheistakin. Hirveä ristiriita. :)

Nyt kävi niin, että neuloskelin tämän huivin kamerattomassa ympäristössä loppuun, joten nelosvihjeestä ei ole kuvan kuvaa. Toisaalta, siinä lähinnä jatkui tuo kolmosvihjeessä aloitettu kuvio. Ja kyllä tässä näemmä paloi aikaa ennenkuin sain sit valmiistakaan huivista mitään kuvaa otettua. Puolustuksekseni sanon, että halusin ottaa sen kuvan ulkona päiväsaikaan, jotta siitä saisi sellaisen kuvan, jossa nuo langan värit olisi edes suunnilleen oikein. Vaikka yritti kuinka säätää valkotasapainoa, niin illalla otetuissa sisäkuvissa tuo huivi oli aina liian rusehtava tai liian tumma tai liian jotain. Olen ennenkin painiskellut noiden lilan/violetin sävyisten lankojen kanssa.

It seems I knit faster than take pictures or perhaps I am just lazy. One problem is my sort circulars; in practice I have to move stitches to additional needles before I can take a picture when I have e.g. finished one clue. Or of course it is possible to take the picture, but it would be nice to see the pattern as well. I still try to take those since I like to see other’s (and my) pictures of each clue.

This time I do not have any picture after Clue 4, since I did not have camera with me. However, the Clue 4 was quite similar with the Clue 3; the same pattern continued. Though I have to admit; it took a while before I took the picture of the finished shawl either. As a defense I could say I wanted to take the picture outside during daylight. When I tried to take the picture in the evening inside I was not able to get the correct colors; no matter how I changed the white balance definition. Either the shawl was kind of brown or dark or something else. I have had this kind of problems before with lilac/violet/purple colors. I think my camera just don’t like those. :)

Mallin nimeksi tuli Persephone, mikä tarkoittaa kreikkalaisen mytologian mukaista kaunista jumalatarta, kuka joutuu vuosittain palaamaan manalaan kuudeksi kuukaudeksi Haadeen vaimoksi. Tästä johtuen maa "kuolee" surusta eli siksi meillä on vuodenajat. Persephone on siis kuolleiden valtakunnan valtiatar.

Pattern is called Persephone, which is accroding to Greek mythology a beautiful goddess who has to return to underworld for six months each year and due to that earth "dies"; that is the reason why we have seasons. So, she is the Queen of the Underworld.
